Player Eligibility

High School – All players are required to play for the school they attend

Middle School – All players are required to play for the school they attend

  • Some schools are 7-8th grade only – these schools are allowed to pull up the 6th graders that will attend the same middle school – this is only with approval from HSBHL

*No sending districts – no merging of teams
** We are not associated with the schools or any districts – you do NOT need approval from your AD to participate
*** All teams must have a minimum of 15 players register and pay in order to compete – max 24

Registration fee

The NY registration fee for the 2024 season is $165 per player plus the cost of USABH registration for both players and coaches and cost uniforms $50. Player registration and uniform fee collected in TeamSnap. USABH registration fee collected by USABH.
We will provide links and instructions for all registrations when Team Rep provides full roster.

  • Included in registration fee -2 jerseys – 1 shorts
  • All game costs – refs – scorekeeper – rink rentals
  • Insurances (non medical – USABH) liability etc for all games and practices
  • Prizes for Champions
NOT INCLUDED – Practice time at rinks – each team is required to notify the HSBHL of all practices to allow the league to ensure proper insurance – this year this will be done via a google document. Teams not completing documents for practice will NOT BE COVERED by insurance and will be at their own risk.
